GPS Surveyors working a survey of river embankment and channel erosion.

Transported by boat we have been able to access otherwise remote areas of the waterways network with our GPS equipment to take level and position measurements.

The survey data measured here will be used to monitor erosion and the natural infilling of the lakes through succession as vegetation becomes increasingly established.

Our Smartrover GPS provides a virtually instantaneous position anywhere we can establish a mobile phone internet connection and receive a signal from five or more of the GPS constellation satellites.
